    The Centre was developed as the showcase for the Breeding Centre for Endangered Arabian Species. We decided to take an unusual interpretive-led approach to the presentation of living exhibits, incorporating a variety of interactive, audio-visual and three-dimensional interpretive media.

    The Monroe Elementary School in Topeka, Kansas is a National Historic Site commemorating the landmark US Supreme Court decision of 1954, which ruled that segregated schools were unconstitutional, sparking the Civil Rights actions of the 1950s and 1960s.

    Working closely with the client team and architect, we submitted a successful strategic Stage 2 HLF application and then implemented all the interpretive elements of this project. Within a country park, the scheme draws together the former Woodhorn Colliery Museum and Northumberland County Archive, with new art galleries and the colliery’s surviving historic buildings.

    In 2001, Toronto’s ROM, a major world museum, instigated a major redevelopment for the 21st century, comprising insertion of a new wing (by architect Daniel Libeskind) and refurbishment of the existing galleries.

    Promoting awareness among regional audiences of the importance of marine heritage, we developed the scheme to completion as a major visitor attraction. Acting as designer and lead consultant, we appointed and managed the team of architects, engineers, aquarium designers/builders and marine biologists.

As part of this programme, the Viking and Medieval galleries at the Manx Museum in Douglas have been refurbished to ensure that the rich material culture is displayed and interpreted in an engaging and appropriate manner.
