Sharjah Archaeology Museum, Desert Park, Sharjah, UAE

Our challenge on this project was the presentation of the complex archaeology of the region to both local and visitor markets, working with an important but limited collection of artefacts.

Creative use of evocative audio-visual presentations and effects, reconstruction models and three-dimensional sculptural features help visitors in their exploration of sensitive and difficult archaeological environments within the desert.

As one of our acclaimed ground-breaking cultural projects in Sharjah, the museum was recognised as a major influence in the decision to appoint Sharjah as ‘The Cultural Capital of the Arab World'.
