Natural History Museum, Sharjah, UAE

This multi-media attraction combines specimen displays with interpretive technologies to explore the geological development of Sharjah from the ‘Big Bang' to the coming of its first peoples and their subsequent impact on the environment.

In addition to our exhibition design role, we also acted as overall project managers and co-ordinators for an inter-disciplinary design team. As such, we were responsible for implementing all aspects of this development, including the architectural scheme.

As one of our acclaimed ground-breaking cultural projects in Sharjah, the museum was recognised as a major influence in the decision to appoint Sharjah as ‘The Cultural Capital of the Arab World'.
