‘Conkers’, Leicestershire, UK
Client: Heart of the National Forest Foundation In designing this new landmark experience as a gateway to exploring the National Forest, we carefully followed the client’s wish to avoid designing a passive ‘woodland experience’ attraction. Instead, zones reflect the changing seasons and environments of the forest. Visitors are encouraged to engage with the processes, diversity, and regenerative cycles that punctuate a typical year in the forest, preparing them for a rewarding journey of exploration through the natural environment.
