Located in a landmark Nicholas Grimshaw building, and linked to the UK’s Space Research Centre at Leicester University, this attraction helps visitors learn about the cosmos and mankind’s exploration of it. Through six main zones visitors can discover the scientific and cultural history of space, including the lives of stars and galaxies, the development of space flight and space flight technologies, myths and stories of space, and the latest discoveries and theories. A spectacular planetarium show, highly interactive environments and role-playing experiences combine with displays based around real space objects, from planetary specimens to space rockets.
