The National Children’s Museum of Jordan, Amman, Jordan
We worked closely with Her Majesty's office to create a facility to stimulate the rounded development of the children of Jordan through interactive exhibits and collections focusing on arts, sciences, technology, industries and the value of national Jordanian identity.
Planning work included analysis of National Curriculum objectives, studies of potential interactive principles, visitor projections, space planning and the architectural brief, as well as developing refined content proposals and concept visualisation. Outdoor exhibits were also integrated into the landscape around the new building.
Taking the project through design development and content development stages to completion, our focus was on creating a unique Jordan-specific context within which children can have fun whilst learning about the world around them.
